This isn’t how the final dish looks. The avocado is blended in. 🙂

If you know me, you know I’m a fan of chocolate, both as a Registered Dietitian and as a human. Here is an excellent way to have your cake and eat it, too, if said cake is chocolate pudding. This is much healthier than your average chocolate dessert.


AND this is vegan diet, paleo diet, and anti-inflammatory diet friendly.

Vegan-Paleo-Anti-inflammatory Avocado Chocolate Pudding!  


1.5 avocado, peeled and flesh removed from pit

1/3 cup quality cocoa powder (100% pure cacao), unsweetened

1/3 cup pure maple syrup or honey

1/4 cup coconut milk

2 tsp vanilla extract



  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor  
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve immediately. Yum.
  4. Go back & lick leftover bits from blender.
