Chai Smoothie Recipe

INGREDIENTS
1 medium banana peeled
3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond or coconut milk beverage (Less if you enjoy a thicker smoothie. More if you enjoy a thinner consistency)
1-2 kale leaves (stalk removed) or 1/2 cup baby spinach
5-10 pecans (optional: toasted for 20 minutes at 200 degrees)
1/4 teaspoon of Blue Lotus Chai Traditional Masala tea*
Optional: 1 small scoop of plant based protein powder or 1-2 oz silken tofu
DIRECTIONS
Place all ingredients in high powered blender. Blend for 30 seconds. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
* If you are sensitive to caffeine, it’s best to consume this beverage earlier in the day as the Blue Lotus Chai does contain caffeine
SERVES: 1-2
