Specifically, we are harnessing the power of technological advancements to provide tools, data, and training to characterize food quality and safety based on food composition of the world’s edible biodiversity. We are enabling partners to map how the composition of foods around the world varies with environmental conditions and agronomic practices, using standardized analytical tools based on omics technology and rich metadata that complement traditional food composition methods. We anticipate these offerings to elucidate linkages between agriculture, nutrition, and health in novel ways.
