    Hi Mary, I like to exercise in the morning, but I fast daily, so I always workout before I eat. Is there anything you recommend to take before a workout to optimize performance without breaking my fast? Also, what are your thoughts on BCAAs/EAAs? I’ve heard a lot of conflicting opinions and can’t seem to figure out if they are worth the money. Thanks a lot, I’m a big fan of your show, you and Keith always brighten up my day!

      Thanks, Kat! If you eat anything, that will inevitably break your fast. Some find that a little bit of cafffeine can give a kick to a workout but this may depend on how you respond to caffeine.
